As the UK’s leading AR agency, we are proud to be one of the founding partners behind the Digital Northampton initiative that is working to support digital innovation and growth of the digital economy in Northampton.

Digital Northampton has already made an impressive start by building connections between business, educators, the public sector, and entrepreneurs to create a network of talented individuals who are actively working on innovative digital projects. These projects span a wide range of technologies, including AR (Augmented Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

As well as connecting like-minded individuals and organisations to unlock new digital opportunities, Digital Northampton has organised a series of Early Bird events including our very own on the subject of Augmented Reality (AR) and the Future of Retail.

The team at Digital Northampton has also brought together a group of amazing speakers and exhibitors for the inaugural Merged Futures event to be held at the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus on Friday the 14th of June.

From AI, through AR and VR to IoT, there are a range of presentations, demonstrations and panel discussions with speakers and exhibitors, including the likes of IBM, XPO and the University of Northampton.

Bringing digital innovation to life for brands

The Engine Creative team will also be there, demonstrating a range of AR experiences and showcasing our very own AR product experience platform, Reydar.

The event will culminate in a panel discussion – The Future of Digital Northampton – including our Client Services Director, Andy Wise. The discussion will centre around digital growth in the region, with particular reference to the creation of a Digital Hub in Northampton.
