Engine Creative has designed the album artwork for the Renaissance release by Christian Smith. The design of Platform is a complete antithesis to the intricate illustrations that Engine Creative has created for the Masters releases.

A modern, minimalist approach with precise geometrics

After speaking with the techno heavyweight behind the album, the Engine Creative team decided that a different design approach was required to reflect the unique concept.

Christian Smith comments on the release:
"I wanted to do something special... that stands the test of time, but that has not been done for Renaissance before.”

The mix takes inspiration from the classic Detroit sound and the contemporary dancefloor and the album artwork takes a modern, minimalist approach with precise geometrics, white space and a flat, vibrant colour palette. An album cover design that looks modern yet timeless is a perfect foil to this Renaissance release.
