Online and Offline Brand Development
Act as an extension of the Open University's (OU) internal communications team offering specialist services outside of their existing skill sets.
Despite having a comprehensive internal resource for a wide range of design and marketing requirements, the OU look to a select number of external agencies to support them on overflow and major projects. An understanding and strict adherence to the OU's comprehensive brand guidelines is essential with any external agency. All agencies are thoroughly vetted for creative ability and professional accountability prior to being employed by the OU.
The OU worked closely with Engine Creative to relaunch its OU Life Screensaver. The new version of the dynamic communications tool keeps users up to date with all of the latest news and events in an engaging and visually rich way that delivers OU updates direct to the screens of students, alumni and staff of the UK's biggest university. Engine Creative has also been involved in a range of major projects for the OU including the design and production of their Annual Report and the brand identity and related marketing collateral for their 40 Year celebration activity.
