Wooden Supplies (previously named HFS Timber) has over 30 years experience in supplying a vast range of sawn/manufactured timber products and associated products for trade, retail, agricultural and equestrian customers. Situated in the beautiful Harlestone Firs woodland, Northamptonshire, their enviable reputation for good stock levels and an efficient delivery service needed to be conveyed into a new brand and e-commerce solution. A new name and a new brand required new thinking about how best to expand the reach of a great retail offering.


Branding was key to the success of the new retail-led website and Engine Creative set about creating a mainstream brand that reflected the brand's key attributes of delivering quality, hand-crafted products in an efficient way. A combination of refined product imagery and a strap line which reflects the ethos of the new brand, 'Click, Build, Enjoy', are designed to broaden the reach of Wooden Supplies as a national brand. After giving the Wooden Supplies brand a clear voice and identity, we set about creating an e-commerce solution that could take on the DIY giants through a simplified user experience and a visual approach to hardware retailing. The full re-brand was implemented across all communications prior to launch including in-store, livery, uniforms and promotional marketing (online and off line).
