As a business we are experiencing growth in demand for our services, particularly in the augmented reality arena, where we have developed our own IP Digital Products.

The aim of the role is to lead the expansion of the client base for all of Engine Creative’s services with a particular emphasis on augmented reality and new client acquisition.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

The position reports to the New Business Director. The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for new business acquisition and profitability.

DUTIES:

  •  Understanding and delivering the Engine Creative value proposition and product offering – and its value to prospective clients.
  • Developing sales and marketing plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Leading the implementation of those plans, drawing on other team resources at Engine Creative as required.
  • Planning and managing sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets.
  • Delivering relevant sales and marketing activities directly – through both digital channels (SEO, Email, etc) and traditional channels (exhibitions, events, etc).
  • Establishing a healthy sales funnel of leads, prospects and clients.
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures on company systems.
  • Monitoring and reviewing performance against KPIs, recommending improvements, and influencing the wider team at Engine Creative in their activities and motivating them to reach targets.
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors and ensuring that the Engine Creative offering remains fresh and relevant.
  • Contribute to formulation of plans and strategies with New Business Director.
  • Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems.
  • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information on own activities.

 MAIN SKILLS:

  • Sales experience in creative agency, technology, blue chip environment and / or brand development arena.
  • Target-driven – a track record of delivery results in new client acquisition in any of the above environments.
  • A “challenger sale” mentality in understanding client’s challenges and devising creative solutions.
  • A marketing thinker and doer.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • IT, budget and report / copy writing skills.
  • A strong presenter with gravitas and influence.
