If you happened to drive past Denton last week, you may have caught a glimpse of the latest Engine Creative film project. We are working with the Northamptonshire Casualty Reduction Partnership on a young drivers campaign that aims to reduce casualties on the county's roads.
The project, called 2Fast2Soon, is aimed at young drivers and school leavers and brings home the dangers of driving too fast, especially when combined with a lack of experience on the road.
The campaign, which will officially be launched in November, will consist of a website, roadshows and a DVD to take the message to the target audience.
For the DVD we staged a spectacular car crash and rescue operation, using the stunt team that worked on James Bond's 'Die Another Day' and real police officers, firemen and paramedics.
Despite the best efforts of the British weather trying to dampen the spirits and hinder the schedule, the rough cuts are looking great and the film will undoubtedly have the desired impact on the target audience.
