As well as ‘The Physics of F1′ illustrations, Top Gear BBC Grand Prix Magazine also required visualisations of all 17 of the F1-circuits.
The illustrations were created by Engine Creative in conjunction with Google by using the Google Earth software. Custom image overlays were integrated to highlight the circuit and additional grid detail was used to help convey the gradient of each circuit. The article even includes a DPS on the Yas Marina Circuit still under construction and bound to be one of the highlights of this years F1 season.
