Paul and Uncle George

We seem to be knee-deep in rugby at the moment with Glyn in charge of the PRA Rugby Player of the Year Awards last week and then Paul rubs shoulders with England star Ben Cohen at the start of his Testimonial Year at Franklins Gardens.

Clearly Paul preferred the round ball to the oval one as he spent his evening chatting with Gordon Banks, the 1966 World Cup goalie. He did not get to talk to Ben Cohen in the end and only managed to speak to Ben’s uncle George. That would be George Cohen MBE, right-back of the 1966 football World Cup team. Not such a bad evening after all then…
