Hi all, my name is Rob Redman and I’ve just joined Engine Creative as Senior 3D Guru, a title I’ll be working hard to live up to. Engine Creative is starting to push the boundaries with 3D and it’s my job to push even harder and further, something I’m really excited about.
I’ve spent the last 15 years as a 2D & 3D designer and photographer at first within existing studios and then as a freelancer. I write a regular column for the international magazine 3D Artist, helping newcomers get to grips with 3D techniques and tools, as well as running a website, with a collection of video tutorials and an active community.
I love to get down and dirty, experimenting with the tools to find fun new ways to work and deliver the unexpected, efficiently. I love visual effects and motion graphics and the role here at Engine Creative will feed my passion, letting me turn my attentions to new and exciting 3D frontiers.
When the opportunity arose to work with Engine Creative I knew I had to jump at it. I’d been aware of Engine’s work and saw a lot of the passion I share for my work in theirs. So, here’s to the future and a whole host of bright and shiny animations, illustrations and generally great design work to come.
