…with a brand new brand
Whenever an organisation rebrands it needs to have a good, valid business reason to do so and here at Engine HQ we’re no different.
Over the past few years we’ve evolved considerably from our traditional design roots to become an integrated creative agency and we felt it was time that our brand caught up and better reflected our creative ethos. This is summed up in our mission statement and is at the heart of everything we do: “We focus on superb creative output to make great things happen.”
The new Engine Creative logo represents this conversion process; fuel into energy, insight into output, Engine into Creative. The diagonal slash represents the place where these great things happen.
We’ve also looked at our service offering and consolidated this into four new areas; Creative Thinkers, Brand Builders, Digital Doers and Content Creators.
When we decided to redesign our website enginecreative.co.uk we did it with a few key points in mind. We wanted it to be really clean and simple to use as well as introducing a few key functional additions that help users navigate, share content and understand who we are and what we do in a clear way.
Here’s a little bit about what you will find on our site.
We’ve simplified the main navigation at the top which collapses into a small, less imposing navigation bar when you scroll down on longer pages. This leaves the main options visible at all times throughout the site.
Share on every page
If you look at the bottom of the site (on what we call the ‘static footer bar’) you have the ability to easily share the page you are on to a friend or colleague, either via email or posted by your social network feeds. These relate to the actual page you are on, rather than the site as a whole. So, if you wanted to inform a colleague about a piece of our work you like, or an interesting blog post, you can do so at the touch of a button. Why not give it a try now and tell all you friends or followers about our site?
We’ve uploaded some new case studies for clients such as Ministry of Sound, Kaplan and Steffan’s. We’ve also updated some older case studies with more recent work; these include The University of Northampton, Toyo Tires, and Viking.
We have introduced our Twitter feed into the blog to make you even more up to date on what’s going on at planet Engine. Follow us @EngineCreative
New Insights section
Our insights feed our outputs, so we have created a new section enginecreative.co.uk/insights where we can post insightful articles and more in depth content related to our industry or your industry.
That’s right, we’ve put an Easter egg on our site. Not a real one but a virtual Easter egg; if you find it and follow the instructions you will receive a 10% discount on the next commission with us. It’s for a limited time only, so go see if you can find it.
