With a request from the artist of a human heart for the cover, Engine Creative continued the Platform series op(eration)-art direction with a touch of bold isometric pop. The theme is carried through to an ominous transplant theatre on the interior gatefold panels.

A few months ago, I got an email from a lady named Charlotte Rivers. She had come across our work and wanted to know if we would like to contribute to one of her books about design. 'LogoArt - Innovation in Logo Design' showcases some of the best logo design from around the world. The book examines logos both as two-dimensional designs and also in their three-dimensional contexts, exploring both the creative inspiration and the logistics behind the work.

I chanced upon a musical gem while listening to Jonathan Ross' Saturday Radio 2 show. Enter The Last Town Chorus' version of David Bowie's "Modern Love". Being a big Bowie fan, I had to track it down.

Usually reserved for websites and software applications, video games are now getting the usability treatment. Development companies have always had testing departments, more technically focussed on fixing visual errors, bugs and crashes. Now Microsoft and Bungie are putting Halo 3 through the full usability lab process to make their game perfectly playable by all.
