Military based choir group The Military Wives has achieved an impressive Top 5 place in this week’s album chart with their second release “Stronger Together.” Here at Engine Creative we have lent our support to the group by designing and developing their “Stronger Together” website to promote the album release as well as offering visitors the opportunity to leave their military based stories and support by using the hashtag #StrongerTogether, using social media to bring together those affected by life in the military.
The website also allows visitors to download a free track from the album as well as the opportunity to learn and hear some of the inspirational stories from some of women in the choir. Designing a clean, easy navigable website we have ensured that the Military Wives message continues to grow not only in the UK but internationally.
Formed by Gareth Malone for the BBC series ‘The Choir’, the group is made up of armed forces wives, girlfriends and mums who use singing as a method of supporting each other and raising awareness of the fantastic work carried out by the British Forces. Since their creation the choir have been a groundbreaking success, securing 2011’s Christmas number 1 with “Wherever You Are”, and providing lead vocals for the Queen’s Official Diamond Jubilee track “Sing” masterminded by Gary Barlow.
So with Remembrance Day just passed and Christmas around the corner why not spare a thought for those fighting for us in the armed forces and buy a copy of the “Stronger Together” album today, giving a percentage to British armed forces charities in the process.
