High street retailer Next has teamed up with Engine Creative to help in the online promotion of their latest TV campaign.
The Midlands based creative agency designed and developed an interactive Flash piece which will dominate the Next homepage and complement the broadcast of the new TV campaign.
The TV campaign is set in Paris and Engine has reflected the continental setting by creating a photorealistic 3D illustration of a café building that users can explore.
From the underground subway to the rooftop vista, users are encouraged to experience the making of the TV advert, download the iTunes playlist and, ultimately, purchase the outfits from the TV advert.
Products are revealed in the shop windows as they appear in the advert, giving users the ability to ‘shop the ad’. The Flash interactivity also includes social media integration enabling users to distribute the online experience of the advert.
Engine Creative’s work with Next cements it’s position as a leading creative partner for some of the biggest retail brands in the UK.
The creative agency has been responsible for working on in-store interactivities for Tesco, online campaigns for Viking Direct and has also created album artwork and marketing collateral for the likes of Ministry of Sound and NDubz, helping to sell over 10 million units in the process.
