The Universal Music release Push It! has spent its second week at Number 2 being held back yet again by the mighty mainstream force of the Brits album.
Push It! encapsulates a great dance soundtrack from the 70s (Rappers Delight et al!), 80s and 90s with tracks from Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice, House of Pain and the classic (well in my eyes) by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock.
The album artwork by Engine Creative is a freestyle colourfest which also plays on some amazing lyrics of the time – I’m looking at you Miami Sound Machine!
