Here at Engine Creative we think the development of creative minds is vital to the future of our industry. Our continued support for students in the creative industry is being strengthened by our sponsorship of students studying Interactive Digital Media at The University of Northampton.
The course covers a range of areas including website creation, video capture and editing, creative video manipulation and 3D modelling and animation. In their final showcase assignment the students will be producing individual showreels of work to the public, local agencies and potential employers.
All preparation, advertising and marketing is being created and distributed by the students themselves with the aim of attracting in excess of 120 participants to the event. The 15 students will present their unique responses to the two year course at the Picturedrome in Northampton on the 5th May 2011 from 12pm until 10pm.
The event is sponsored by Engine Creative and consists of 15 individual stands showing each student’s work. Attendees will have the chance to ask students questions about their process and final project and between the hours of 4pm and 8.30pm there will be a compilation of all 15 showreels presented on the Picturedrome’s large projector screen.
The students are soon to be heard advertising the event on local radio and will begin handing out leaflets, circulating posters as well as making an appearance in the local press.
Go along and see the creative minds of the future before anyone else!
