Part of my role at Engine Creative is to produce CG (computer generated) animations for clients, which is often a complex process, with many potential pitfalls and obstacles. Getting feedback from the client at the right stages is vital to the smooth running of a project and can, as well as helping the client to understand where we are with a project, help us to plan effectively, which aids the smooth running of each stage. Remaining creative as well as staying within timescale and budget is vital to each project and we have developed a clear process which lets us do this.

I have personally never owned a Blackberry or an iPhone but am now considering upgrading (at the moment I’m rolling with a Nokia 1661 – but that’s a different story!). So the question is, which one to choose?

Generation Dubstep is one of many new releases we've just finished for Universal Music. With this design we wanted to keep away from any stereotypical urban or gritty images that could have been used to portray the genre, but still focus on a strong bold commercial cover.

Imagine our surprise when, on the very day we had our meeting to discuss new design concepts with Hunts County, we stumbled across an article in Creative Review with the design we created for Hunts County back in 2005. 5 years on and we're back on the case looking to redefine and update the Hunts County brand for 2010 and beyond.

The Cattáneo Renaissance partnership continue to look to Engine Creative for visual inspiration to complete The Master Series dream team. In the past we have created internationally recognised illustrations for the Renaissance Master Series to ensure the brand continues to be visually and commercially successful and the latest release, Parallel, has enabled our design team to develop the style once again.

For those that think the iPad is just a big iPod Touch well they need to think again. The laptop is great, but once you start using the touch screen on the iPad, everything else just seems a little contrived.

Hi, my name is Lizzie, and somehow I managed to land myself the role of Production Assistant here at Engine Creative. I have just finished studying BA (Hons) Advertising with Design at the University of Northampton and am eager to put the knowledge and skills I have learnt into practice.
